USANAnimals: Kids Nutrition Comes First

To give you the best nutrition for your body and to your kid’s health as well, USANA has been using safe, healthy and quality ingredients in all of its products. USANA makes every effort to carefully choose the right ingredients that will be used in their health products. Because USANA knows that the health of the family is the number one concern of every person in the world.
That is why USANA takes all the effort to avoid using ingredients that may contain animal products or by-products. It has not been possible to eliminate animal products or by – product ingredients from some of the USANA Nutritionals products.
But small amounts of gelatin are still associated with some of the main ingredients in USANA products such as the beta-carotene, lutein, and vitamin D. The gelatin is being added by the primary manufacturer of these raw USANA ingredients and it is used to form these materials into a dry, flowable beadlets.
These beadlets forms are necessary for the USANA ingredients or materials to be incorporated into a dry tablets and it is essential or important for long-term stability of these materials. The gelatins are being used for the CoQuinone 30, E-Prime, Palmetto Plus, and BiOmega gel caps which are derived from beef and or pork.
But USANA is continually researching effective methods and ways to improve their Nutritional products. If, in the near future, the vegetable-based capsules achieves a better results that these animal products or by – products, USANA health sciences may consider using vegetable – based capsule in Nutritional product line.
Currently there is no reasonable or reliable alternative to replace the gelatin used in USANA’s gel cap products. USANA is also aware that there are companies that are using vegetable-derived gel caps, but the e technology is not yet sufficient to maintain the high standard quality and stability of the USANA nutritionals product requires. Although, the gelatin used products in USANA are certified to be from BSE-free, assuring you that every USANA products that you use is safe and healthy.
